All our solar water heaters can be installed with an optional electronic thermostat controller with LCD screen that can automatically turn on the back-up heating solution on cloudy days to ensure that you always have hot water.
IREE Solar sells and installs two different types of solar water heaters, an integrated unit and a split unit
Integrated Unit
An integrated solar water heater consists of both the solar thermal collector and the tank connected together and placed outside, normally on the roof of a building. This solution is efficient but not as aesthetically pleasing as a split solar water heater solution. We offer this type of solar heater in the following sizes:
120L/30gal suitable to provide hot water for 2-3 people per day
150L/40gal suitable to provide hot water for 3-4 people per day
200L/53gal suitable to provide hot water for 4-5 people per day
300L/80gal suitable to provide hot water for 5-6 people per day
Split Unit
A split solar water heater separates the solar thermal collector from the storage tank. The storage tank is normally placed at ground level and the solar thermal collector is placed on the roof. This solution is more aesthetically pleasing as well as decreases the overall weight placed on the roof.
We offer split systems starting in storage capacities from 300L/80gal all the way to customised systems able to store thousands of gallons of hot water.
